Baby Squid

Although squid is getting more and more popular, it is actually rather small at first, despite its reputation as being big. We get our young squid from Ecuador. You could fit six of these little fish in your hand. In a pillow pack that you’ll most likely use all at once, they come frozen. If you don’t need the full block at once, you can split it up and freeze the bits you don’t need right away after defrosting it in the fridge for six hours. Once the newborn squid emerge from the water, they are frozen, so they just need to be cleaned for a moment!
